Access, Cost and Delivery of Care

Kansas Access to Healthcare

The American healthcare system is complex and expensive. Understanding where and how Kansans get their care, how much it costs, and how it is delivered are important issues for policymakers and for the Kansans they represent.

KHI examines how federal and state policy affects access, cost, and delivery of care. Our work includes the analysis of health reform efforts, new models of care, the supply of health care providers, the expansion of telehealth, and other trends in health care.
