Kansas Health Institute Accessibility

We want everyone who visits the Kansas Health Institute (KHI) website to feel welcome and find the experience worthwhile.

To help us make the KHI website a place where everyone can access our information, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content user-friendly for our audience, regardless of technology or ability. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the KHI website.

This website launched in August 2022. During the process to migrate content from our former website, we recognize that many older publications – especially those only available as PDF documents – may not reach the AA level of accessibility. Most of our newer publications are now available in both PDF and HTML format.

Thank you for your patience as we work to provide greater accessibility of KHI content.
