Process Facilitation of State Level Task Forces and Working Groups

KHI provided process facilitation services to the Mental Health Task Force (2017-2018) and (2018-2019), the Child Welfare System Task Force (2017-2018), Governor’s Task Force to Address Substance Use Disorder (2018), the Crossover Youth Working Groups (2019), the Legislature’s Special Committee on Mental Health Modernization and Reform Work Groups (2020; 2021), the Autism Task Team (2021), and the Senior Care Task Force (2021-2022).

Subject Matter Expert (SME) Facilitation

KHI assembled the KanCare Meaningful Measures Collaborative (2018-current) to establish an ongoing mechanism for engagement of stakeholders and to close the loop between existing information, new information, and unanswered questions about the performance of the KanCare program. The role of KHI is to design the meeting process, facilitate meetings, identify key meaningful measures of performance, generate consensus by fostering a collaborative process, and provide research support as needed.

Opioid Disorder

Process Facilitation and Technical Assistance

In collaboration with the Prevention and Recovery Services (PARS) Topeka, KHI facilitated the development of the Shawnee County Opioid Response Strategic Plan. As part of these efforts, KHI conducted an environmental scan of data and resources available in Shawnee County to address opioid use disorder.
