On Feb. 27, KHI held an event that explored how stakeholders and partners advanced aging initiatives to create an Age-Friendly Kansas (, with a specific emphasis on Age-Friendly Public Health Systems and multi-sector collaborations. Participants gained insights into ongoing efforts to integrate healthy aging practices and age-friendly principles into public health systems and organizations across Kansas.

Participants also learned about emerging public health challenges associated with an aging population. The session aimed to strengthen the link between aging and public health to build a more inclusive and supportive environment for older adults.
