Robert F. St. Peter, M.D., KHI President & CEO, shared estimates on Medicaid expansion with the Senate Public Health and Welfare Committee during a hearing on HB 2044, which would establish the KanCare Bridge to a Healthy Kansas Program. The bill, which passed the House earlier this session, would expand Medicaid coverage to most low-income, non-elderly Kansas adults, effective January 1, 2018.
