Marketplace premiums and plan options are changing in 2026.Many of the 200,000 Kansans who enrolled in the previous year are experiencing changes in affordability, and enhanced federal subsidies have expired.

On Feb. 17, KHI provided a virtual overview of premium trends, insurer participation and how different households may be affected. Participants heard from a panel representing community clinics, hospitals and patient navigation services about what these changes mean for access to care and service delivery across Kansas.
