The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released summary enrollment data for the insurance marketplace created by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). As of January 16, 2015, there are 80,064 Kansans who have enrolled in health insurance coverage through the Kansas marketplace since open enrollment began on November 15, 2014.

KHI has prepared maps that show the number of Kansans, by zip code, who have selected a plan or were automatically re-enrolled for the 2015 coverage year. Information is not yet available on how many of those persons have paid their premium and are actually covered by the insurance plan selected.

More detail on the data is available by Kansas zip code in Excel format.
