Communities across the state are facing increasingly complex health challenges. Addressing them can be difficult for any health department, especially those in small, rural counties that are working with tight budgets and limited staff.
On December 13, 2017, the Kansas Health Institute (KHI) hosted a convening to discuss how to ensure delivery of public health services across Kansas. Local and national experts examined a variety of governance and service delivery models and provided their perspectives on improving the public health system in the state.
