Taryn Berroth

Proposal and Contract Coordinator

Taryn Berroth, Proposal and Contract Coordinator, provides support for both pre- and post-award grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements. She plays a key role in tracking proposal submissions, monitoring project timelines and assisting with budget development. Taryn also supports financial processes such as invoicing and reporting.

Taryn previously served as a Communication Assistant at KHI. Prior to that role, Taryn was an Events Coordinator at the Topeka Zoo, where she worked with clients to determine their event needs and expectations and oversaw event execution. Taryn also has worked as a Transaction Associate for HPC Puckett & Company, where she designed advertisements and pre-transaction marketing documents, and as a New Business Assistant with American Home Life Insurance Company.

Taryn holds a bachelor’s degree in mass media with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in psychology from Washburn University, where she earned cum laude status.
