Project Management in Kansas
Project Management
Effective project management can help your organization deliver consistent results, reduce costs, increase efficiencies and improve staff and stakeholder satisfaction. Project management, when done right, can create a seamless environment for everyone involved and just as importantly, it can lead to multiple rounds of funding from a satisfied funder.

Sample projects
Center for Sharing Public Health Services
A national initiative of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) managed by KHI. KHI staff have administered the provision of approximately $2.5 million of support to 51 projects in 22 states. KHI staff have supported grant administration through Request for Proposal development and application review while communicating regularly with RWJF. Throughout this work, KHI staff provide technical assistance to grantees through regular project monitoring calls, site visits and review of interim and final reports. If challenges arise, KHI staff provide guidance on needed corrective action.
Kearny County Hospital (KCH)
Collaborated with KHI to implement project management processes around their portfolio of population health efforts with the aim of increasing their capacity to engage in this work. Additionally, KHI worked with KCH staff to develop a population health dashboard for staff to share with the KCH Board of Directors on an ongoing basis. Throughout this project, KHI identified project management needs to support KCH’s wide portfolio of deliverables. Following identification of these needs, KHI staff developed tools to address needs and worked with KCH staff to implement tools and processes.
