KHI staff have developed a new curriculum to educate students on the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (ACS) dataset called the Public Use Microdata Sample, or PUMS.
Public health officials, nonprofits, grant seekers and other students will learn how to work with the PUMS data, identify research questions that can be answered by PUMS, and discuss opportunities for using these data in their work.
Working with the PUMS dataset:
