TOPEKA, KANSAS — The Kansas Health Institute (KHI) is pleased to announce the promotion of Samiyah Para-Cremer Moore to Senior Analyst and Portfolio Strategist for the community technical assistance portfolio. In this role, she will lead KHI’s work in developing community technical assistance initiatives and manage projects and partnerships in the portfolio. She also will identify resources and build organizational capacity.
“Samiyah has been instrumental in establishing key relationships to improve health in Kansas,” said Kari Bruffett, KHI President and CEO. “Her work with others in the state to address issues such as hunger, poverty and other factors that influence health has been outstanding.”
Work in the community technical assistance portfolio involves ongoing partnerships and continuous engagement with communities. Para-Cremer Moore’s experience includes leading Data Walks in collaboration with the Kansas Health Foundation, providing technical assistance to communities in the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas Pathways initiative, and leading research and analysis to support Hunger Free Kansas.
