The Kansas Health Institute (KHI) has launched KHI Learning, a new on-demand platform offering practical, evidence-based learning designed to fit into a busy schedule. It is built for the people advancing health in Kansas and beyond, including policymakers, health professionals, community partners, educators and researchers.

Grounded in KHI’s research, health policy expertise and proven learning design practices, KHI Learning translates real-world evidence into skills participants can apply right away.

Three offerings are available for enrollment beginning Sept. 22:

• Strategic Storytelling for Public Health, a course that equips participants with practical tools to craft strategic stories that build trust, deepen understanding and drive meaningful action.
• Community Engagement in Practice, a learning program that helps local health department staff across every role build practical skills for engaging community members and populations of focus.
• Data to Action: Finding, Understanding and Communicating Data for Community Work, a three-part toolkit that helps learners identify, interpret and communicate data to drive community action.

What Learners Can Expect

Every course on KHI Learning includes short instructional videos, real-world examples and interactive activities, along with practical tools that learners can use immediately. Courses also include a certificate of completion (continuing education credits are not provided at this time).

KHI Learning facilitates learning that leads to meaningful change for a healthier Kansas. It is designed to support the people advancing health in Kansas and beyond, whether they are just getting started or sharpening skills they use every day.
