Kari Bruffett, KHI President & CEO, recently was a presenter in a national webinar that explored two topics of importance to rural areas: access to emergency medical services (EMS) and the integration of behavioral health and primary care services.

The webinar was hosted by the Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub) in partnership with the National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services (NACRHHS). Bruffett is a member of NACRHHS, which recently provided policy briefs and recommendations about these critical topics to the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, Xavier Becerra.
