Testimony was offered by the Kansas Health Institute on Senate Bill 215 and House Bill 2168, both of which would incentivize casino development in Southeast Kansas. Testimony about the potential positive and negative health effects of such casino development was delivered March 22 in the House Federal and State Affairs Committee and March 25 in the Senate Federal and State Affairs Committee.
