Laszewski, president of Health Policy and Strategy Associates in Washington, D.C., provided an update on the political and practical implications of the 2012 election on the health policy landscape in Washington, D.C., and in Topeka.
Praeger discussed the potential impact of the ACA on the state’s health insurance market, as well as how a federal health insurance exchange is likely to take shape in Kansas now that Gov. Sam Brownback has reconfirmed his decision to not establish a state-based or partnership-model exchange.
