Michele Sumpter, Administrative Assistant, supports the policy and research staff in our work on the many complex issues that affect the health of Kansans.
She provides meeting support, makes travel arrangements and monitors expenses. Michele formerly was our receptionist.
Prior to joining KHI, Michele spent 16 years at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, most recently as a small group marketing representative. She also has worked for the Menninger Clinic and St. Francis Health.
Michele attended Washburn University and Allen County Community College.
