Barbara Hersh, Communication and Events Assistant, helps to promote the work of the organization by supporting activities within the Strategic Communication and Engagement Team.
Barbara formerly served as the director of communications for the Kansas Department of Labor. Prior to that, she served as public information officer for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Barbara started her career in communications with the marketing team at Stormont Vail Health.
Barbara graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Washburn University, where she majored in communications and marketing and minored in art.
