Survey of Kansas Legislators and Commissioners on Public Health Awareness and Attitudes

The Docking Institute of Public Affairs at Fort Hays State University conducted a survey of Kansas legislators and county commissioners for the Kansas Health Institute. The purpose of the research was to better understand the awareness level, opinions and experiences of key decision makers in Kansas with regard to public health. The resulting report reveals their collective attitudes about public health issues and identifies the topics that are most important to these two groups.
