KHI’s Scott C. Brunner, M.A., Senior Analyst & Team Leader, presented neutral testimony before the House Committee on Health and Human Services on House Bill 2319, which requires the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to develop an expansion plan and negotiate its approval with federal officials. 

During the testimony, KHI provided the committee with material KHI has developed to describe the potential financial and policy implications of a decision on Medicaid expansion in Kansas.
