Jason M. Orr, M.P.H., Analyst, provides research and technical assistance on our work related to population health, with a focus on improving the public health system. Jason also serves as Project Coordinator for the Center for Sharing Public Health Services, a national initiative managed by KHI and funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation which focuses on service sharing as a strategy to create efficiencies in public health.
Prior to joining KHI, Jason was a public health preparedness coordinator and held leadership roles within the Northeast Kansas Preparedness Healthcare Coalition.
Jason earned a master’s degree in public health, with an emphasis in infectious diseases and zoonoses, and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, with a secondary major in biological engineering, from Kansas State University. He currently is enrolled in a doctoral program for systems engineering in public health at Colorado State University and has earned a Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering Practice.
