Tom Bell, president of the Kansas Hospital Association, told Jim McLean of KHI New Service in this State of the State Kansas video that his group is backing an increase in tobacco taxes with hopes the money raised will be used to restore recent cuts ordered in the rates paid to hospitals, doctors and other Medicaid providers.
