M. Suzanne Schrandt, J.D., ― formerly M. Suzanne Cleveland, J.D., ― Senior Analyst & Strategy Team Leader, conducts and analyzes research on health care systems and access issues, and monitors state and federal legislative activity related to health policy. She also leads KHI’s health reform strategy team that works to educate Kansas stakeholders and the public about aspects of health reform.
Schrandt formerly was Coordinator of Public Health and Public Policy for the Arthritis Foundation of Greater Kansas City and Western Missouri. Prior to that, she conducted research for the Human Genome Project at the Beach Center on Disability Policy at the University of Kansas. Schrandt has a law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law and is licensed to practice law in the state of Kansas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Kansas State University.
