LeAnn Bell, Pharm.D., Senior Analyst, is a licensed pharmacist who conducts and analyzes research on health policy issues, and monitors state and federal legislative activity related to health policy, with an emphasis on health care reform. Prior to joining KHI, Bell worked at the Kansas Health Policy Authority as the Kansas Medicaid pharmacy program senior manager. In that capacity, she oversaw the daily activities of the pharmacy program as well as conceptualized and implemented program improvement initiatives. Bell earned a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Kansas, completed an American Society of Hospital Pharmacy accredited managed care and pharmacoeconomics residency program at the Kansas City Veteran’s Affairs Hospital and attended Kansas State University as an undergraduate.
