Barbara E. Starrett, M.H.A., Senior Analyst, conducts and analyzes research on public and population health issues. Her work focuses on helping local health departments improve capacity through collaboration. Starrett previously worked in the Office of Research and Graduate Studies at the University of Kansas. Prior to that, she worked as a senior research analyst for the Kansas Health Institute. Starrett earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln Teachers College.
