TOPEKA The Kansas Children’s Cabinet has postponed its Tuesday board meeting.
“We had some last-minute scheduling conflicts,” said Jim Redmon, the cabinet’s executive director.
Redmon said a decision on rescheduling the meeting is pending.
The Tuesday meeting’s agenda included putting together the cabinet’s funding recommendations for a variety of early childhood development initiatives for the fiscal year that begins July, 1, 2013.
The initiatives are financed with revenues from the state's tobacco master settlement agreement.
