In 2008, the Kansas Health Institute, with the support of several health foundations in Kansas, began The Underinsured in Kansas project. The goal of the project was to gain a better understanding of how underinsurance affects the lives of Kansans and then communicate that information to key stakeholders, policymakers and the public. With the conclusion of the project, a detailed overview of the project’s methods, analyses and findings are included in this technical report.
