The Multi-State Learning Collaborative II project (MLC-2) in Kansas addressed public health challenges by focusing on improving performance management through Quality Improvement. The grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation was managed through a partnership of the Kansas Health Institute, the Kansas Association of Local Health Departments and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

Three of the state's public health regions participated in MLC-2 pilot projects.

The results of the projects are outlined in three short informational briefs and in "storyboards" that describe their improvement process following the "Plan-Do-Check-Act" model. The project documents may be accessed through the links below.
