Annual Insurance Update 2010

Source: Kansas Health Institute

Because health insurance is the primary means by which Kansans gain access to health care services, knowing which portions of the Kansas population are uninsured is important.

Every year, the Kansas Health Institute uses the latest data from the Current Population Survey, conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, to examine the sources of health insurance for Kansans and the socio-demographic characteristics of the uninsured. The analysis of the data is included in this report, Annual Insurance Update 2010: Health Insurance in Kansas.
