Ms. Jones has been the Director of the National Health Policy Forum at The George Washington University since its inception in 1972. The Forum is a nonprofit educational program providing an informal, nonpartisan, off-the-record setting for congressional staff and federal agency officials to meet with experts from various health care arenas for discussions on a wide range of health policy issues. In 1988 Ms. Jones became a member of the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics and served as its chair from 1991-1996. She is a lecturer at The George Washington University and serves as a mentor at the Wharton School's Health Care Management Program. Previously, Ms. Jones served as Special Assistant in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Legislation in the Department of Health, Education and Welfare.
