The Kansas Health Institute (KHI) has an immediate opening for a research analyst to conduct health policy and health services research, and to support a variety of projects. The ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary research setting is essential. Strong writing and verbal communication skills are essential.

Candidates for the position should have a master’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience. Candidates with experience in applied settings in health policy and health services research, as well as an understanding of public health and health care delivery systems, are preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, retirement and other fringe benefits, and resources for professional development.

KHI is an independent, non-profit health policy and research organization based in Topeka, Kansas, with a satellite office in Kansas City, Kansas. Established in 1995 with a multi-year grant from the Kansas Health Foundation, KHI was developed to conduct research and policy analysis on issues that affect the health of Kansans and to communicate that information so that informed decisions can be made.
